Apple IPHONE

I'm sure this has been asked, but I didn't find it. I have had my itunes on my old computer since I first bought an iphone in 2007. The computer is OLD and SLOW and I'm not using my laptop most of the time. My question is.....is there ANY way to backup/sync my phone to the itunes I have on my laptop?? I have already authorized the laptop on itunes. If this is possiable, please let me know the directions on how to do it please.
